Lamb Meatballs

One of my favorites to bust myself out of a food slump, this goes great with a Mediterranean or Middle Eastern inspired ensemble of basmati rice (+ turmeric), herb roasted potatoes, all topped with a vibrant Romesco sauce.


  • 1 lb Ground lamb

  • 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs

  • 1 Egg

  • Lemon zest from 1 lemon

  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp Parsley, chopped

  • 2 tsp Dried oregano

  • 1/2 tsp Cumin, ground

  • Salt, to taste

  • Fresh ground black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp Red pepper flakes


  • Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and work together with hands
  • Form into ~24 balls
  • Cook using desired method, air-fry/convection bake recommended
  • Serving with Romesco sauce is highly recommended
