Yosemite Valley

70/40

Claire and I took advantage of the new long weekend to go camping in Yosemite Valley. We drove out Friday night, and stayed 3 nights at the Pines campgrounds. Saturday we hiked to Vernal and Nevada Falls, which was a tough climb but a great hike. Afterwards we relaxed while cooking dinner over our campfire and making smores. The next day we did some other hikes around the valley, seeing Lower Yosemite Falls from the bottom viewpoint, and riding the shuttle to do a hike to Bridalveil Falls and Bridalveil Meadow along the Valley Loop trail. Finally on Monday we left early so we could get to Rainbow Pool along Highway 120 before it got too crowded for the day. I got my wetsuit on and attempted some split shot underwater photography.
